Cover Bear
what is the easiest and cheapest way to grow green grass in my area?
I just need to cover bear spots. I got irrigation system set up now, and I want to cover the area where grass has died. I do not want to be spending money since I am not working at the moment, thinking of spreading seeds with a seed spreader, but not exactly sure.... any expert idea?
I used two things that I found at my favorite store..............Home Depot. First I brought a sun and shade mix and a seed spreader, but I did not like the amount of seed that came out. I learned to over seed, and I was trying a large area so I started using my hands.
After the grass came up some spots were thinner than others, thanks to the spreader. Then, I went and brought something they sell called Patch Master. This was cheaper than the first bag. It contains seed, fertilizer and mulch all in one. You place it right where you need it.
Now my lawn is very nice.
I suggest Patch Master. Don't buy the spreader, you won't need it with this.
If you don't have too large of an area one bag of Patch Master will do, if not you will need two, or more.
