If you have 2 outlets on one circuit, do you have to have 2 GFI's or does 1 GFI cover both outlets?
It depends on how it is wired. To check if the unit is protected, test for voltage between the hot and the ground on the non GFCI outlet. If the GFCI trips then the outlet is protected.
