Why is my iguana so small?
I have an iguana (rambo) he is about a year and a half old and is only 18 inches from head to tail.
He lives in an entertainment center converted into a "Lair." it is 4' tall by 3' wide and 2' deep. I have a power sun 100W bulb, a flourecent UVB bulb as well as a 150W heating lamp and the two light sources are on a 12 hour timer. there is a humidifier as well. Temp is 84 with basking spot of 95. i have a large water spot for him on the bottom so he can swim and do his "dooty." I am very concerned lately because he has not been eating regularly ( i think it is because he just shed but not sure) and he is not the size he should be. if you could give me some insight, please do. thank you
@meow: there's no species called rambo iguanas. I think she is referring Rambo to his name. Also the enclosure is not too small for him. Do you not know that 3' by 4' by 2' means feet not inches!!? It's a big enclosure!
@shelbdoo. For him being almost two, it can be a big problem. Make sure you talk to a vet
