Neodymium Magnets
Is it true - Are neodymium magnets radio active?
I heard that neodymium magnets are highly radio active and can cause problems to the body if not handled with the proper protection that radio active matter should be handled with.
Is this true?
Can't find any support for that.
Some extremely powerful magnets are available from a company called "Unitednuclear.com", but the radioactive stuff is on another page.
The highest power magnets can be hazardous to handle, due to the amount of force which can be generated from magnet to steel items, or from magnet to opposing magnet, especially when the magnet itself is a several pound hunk of metal!
