Are neon license plate covers illegal in tennessee?
so i bought a neon blue license plate cover today at walmart and people are telling me its illegal to have neon lights on your car ....so i was wondering are they illegal in the state of tennessee if u dont know for sure and ur just saying what u heard from someone else then please dont answer this.
Most States it is illegal to have any Blue lights on your car , or any other colors that are used by emergency services ,and plus it does violate the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Regulations , because you are not allowed to add or take away any of the vehicles lighting that comes on it from the factory....Check with your local DMV ..it is illegal in most places , but most police agencies have bigger problems to deal with , My cousin had blue lights on his tag , and windshield washer tips , he drove around for a year with them ,and one day they caught him ...$ 850.00 in Chattanooga
